  • MULTI-PURPOSE HARD SURFACE CLEANER. IDEAL FOR CLEANING WALLS, FACADES AND DRIVEWAYS

    Epicuro CL-01 is a powerful, multi-purpose, penetrating bio-degradable cleaner for stone, render and concrete surfaces. It works by dissolving and breaking down the structure and surface adhesion of contamination, such as oils, greases, fats, dirt, pollution, and general grime.

    It can also be used to decontaminate machinery, sumps, containment bunds, floors, walls, building facades, driveways, car-parks and kitchens.

    Unlike dangerous acid based cleaners, Epicuro CL-01 is alkali-based and is not subject to WEL Regulations (Workplace Exposure Limit)
  • Epicuro CL01-eco is a powerful, multi-purpose, penetrating bio-degradable cleaner for all contaminated stone, render and concrete surfaces.

    Epicuro CL01-eco works by dissolving and breaking down the structure and surface adhesion of contamination, such as oils, greases, fats, dirt and general grime. Epicuro CL01-eco is an ideal pre-treatment when preparing surfaces for liquid or sheeting applied coating systems, making them more durable by improving initial surface adhesion.

    Epicuro CL01-eco is an ‘industrial grade’ cleaner that cleans effectively where most other products only partially succeed.

    Also, unlike other cleaning products, it’s use is NOT restricted by WEL Regulations (Workplace Exposure Limit).

    Epicuro CL01-eco is a fast acting solution to surface cleaning, quickly lifting contamination from the surface in a manner that supports ‘safe waste management’, using rinse water.

    Epicuro CL01-eco can be used to clean many types of surfaces including most metals substrates, without harming or altering them.

    Epicuro CL01-eco is used to clean machinery, sumps, containment bunds, floors, walls, building facades, driveways, car-parks and kitchens. Example of use can be found in factories, machinery workshops, food processing plants, power and desalination plants, warehouses and industrial kitchens.

  • SURFACE PREPARATION

    Ensure surface is free of all coating, coverings or materials that could prevent proper application and penetration of the product.

    Effectively protect all aluminium fixutures or fittings, especially when using the product neat or at high concentration (can affect surface). Test the product on the target surfaces before wide scale use, especially if the surface material is unknown (seek advice from Epicuro Ltd). Protect adjoining areas not intended to be cleaned from overspray or spillage.

    APPLICATION

    Prepare Epicuro CL01-eco to the required concentration (neat or diluted), following possible testing on the surface to be treated. Typically, heavy soiling demands neat application, medium soiling 1:5 parts product to water and light soiling 1:10 parts product to water. For optimum productivity, this is best determined by trial and error for the job in hand.

    Apply Epicuro CL01-eco evenly on the surface, by brush or spray and agitate with stiff brush (see dosage guidance below).

    Allow Epicuro CL01-eco time to work, penetrating the dirt or grease contamination.

    Do not allow product to dry on the surface, top up if necessary.

    The dwell time will depend on the substrate, thickness and type of contamination and the concentration of product used.

    Rinse with high pressure water jet. For best results, use hot water approximately 80° C. Repeat cleaning, possibly altering product concentration and dwell time, to achieve desired result. Again rise and then vacuum up using wet & dry vacuum equipment. Note: in confined spaces, use of a low pressure hose and scrubbing brush should be considered. CLEANING EQUIPMENT

    Clean tools and equipment using clean water, immediately following completion of work.
  • ALWAYS KEEP CHEMICALS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND ANIMALS

    Epicuro CL01-eco is classed only as an irritant and, therefore, has low health and safety risks. In addition, it is non-corrosive to most surfaces.

    • Eye protection: If there is a real risk of splashing, wear protective goggles.
    • If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or a specialist.
    • Respiratory protection: Under normal conditions of use, where adequate ventilation is available, no special respiratory protection equipment is needed.
    • Hand protection: Wear PVC gloves.
    • Skin protection: Wear overalls. No special protective clothing or skin protection is required under normal conditions of use.

    Where required, product users are responsible for preparing their own COSHH Assessments based on the Material Safety Data Sheets provided by Epicuro Ltd. for its products.
  • Coverage of Epicuro CL01-eco depends on the type of substrate, the nature of it’s contamination and the adopted dilution of the product.
